Some of you may know that I paint in the Woodpile Collective...but I'll bet many of you didn't know that the Woodpile Collective also has an audio based counterpart known as "Creator of the Creator". We just had a recording session/retreat to our lab cabin on the coast. Collective friend and photographer Ben Moore came out to partake in the festivities and shoot some film over the weekend. Damn that was fun. Look out for the new album this spring "Caves & Claws".

I'm excited to be an honourary "Vancouverite" as I am a part of the "Drawing on Vancouver" show at Walrus in...Vancouver. Curated by Randy Laybourne, looks like a great show with a host of fine artists. Looking forward to checking it out in person. Here are some more pics of the setup and opening over at Look Forward to the Past.
The good folks at Scum Creative Labs and the Rifflandia Music Festival asked me to remix their Rifflandia Logo ( see icosahedron ) for their limited release "Rifflandabrau" Pilsner with Phillips Brewing Company. Specially Brewed for their Festival, I cranked the dial to "Skullquake" with my interpretation. Keep an eye out for the finished label and enjoy a cold Rifflandabrau at the Fest.

Went out and painted on the Wildfire Bakery last Sunday. Not finished yet, but the character came together allright. I painted a Kwakwaka'wakw chief with a talking stick. He seemed like

Just finished these for Jeff at Zed Skimboards. Clean woodgrain tops with wall to wall full bleed Woodpile Collective graphics on the bottom. Utter Sickness. Dropping in 09.
The latest issue of Transworld Skateboarding is out. My illustrations are in the "Got Mail" section.
Val. Dude. What happened?
Abracadabra is both a local art publication and group art show inspired by the theme of Magic and Metaphysics. It is a celebration of the otherworldly, an embracing of the unexplainable. In succession to the BeCause, the Glue Factory, the Natural Low, the Feast, and the Make, Abracadabra is yet another incantation of Victoria’s young, underground arts community.I was stoked to be included in this years mix of artists.
